This Privacy Policy explains what information the ClaudeCheap API proxy service, operated at cipherdatalabs.net, collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We deliberately collect as little as is needed to operate a prepaid API proxy:

• Account data: the email address you register with, a hashed password, and email-verification state.
• Billing data: your prepaid balance, ledger entries, crypto top-up records, and the on-chain references needed to confirm a payment. We never see or store card or bank details.
• Usage metadata: per-request timestamps, model name, token counts, latency, and the API key used, recorded for billing and operations.
• Technical data: IP address and request headers, used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and security.

2. Prompt and Completion Content

• We do not log, store, or use the content of your prompts or completions for any purpose other than forwarding the request to the upstream model provider in real time.
• Request and response bodies pass through the proxy in transit and are not retained after the request completes.
• We never use your content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any model.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above only to:

• Provide the Service: authenticate you, forward requests, and meter and debit usage against your balance.
• Operate and secure the Service: rate limiting, fraud and abuse detection, debugging, and protecting accounts that hold a balance.
• Communicate with you: verification, password reset, billing notices, and material changes to our terms.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

• We share request content with the upstream model provider strictly as needed to fulfil your request.
• We use a small number of infrastructure and payment processors (for example, transactional email and crypto payment gateways) that process data on our behalf to deliver the Service.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the Service and its users.

5. Retention

Account, billing, and usage-metadata records are retained while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. Prompt and completion content is not retained beyond the lifetime of the request, as described above.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, API keys and provider credentials are encrypted at rest, traffic is served over TLS, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply commercially reasonable measures appropriate to a service that holds prepaid balances.

7. Your Choices

• You can access your account data and usage history from the dashboard.
• You can request correction of inaccurate account data.
• You can request deletion of your account; some billing and fraud-prevention records may be retained where required by law.
• You can request a copy of the account data we hold about you.

8. Changes to This Policy
