Refund Policy
How prepaid credit, crypto top-ups, unused balances, and billing corrections are handled on a pay-as-you-go service.
This Refund Policy explains how payments, credits, and refunds are handled on the ClaudeCheap API proxy service operated at cipherdatalabs.net. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By topping up a balance you agree to this policy.
1. Prepaid, Pay-As-You-Go Service
ClaudeCheap is a prepaid service. You add funds to a credit balance and the published rate-card price is deducted from that balance as you make API requests. You are never billed after the fact and no debt is ever incurred against your account.
2. Crypto Top-Ups Are Final
- Top-ups are paid in cryptocurrency, which is irreversible by design. Once a payment confirms on-chain and is credited to your balance, the top-up itself cannot be reversed, charged back, or refunded to the originating wallet.
- Credit that has already been consumed by API usage is non-refundable. Usage is metered per request against live upstream provider costs and cannot be returned once spent.
- We do not offer trial periods, and we do not store, charge, or have access to any card or bank instrument; there is therefore nothing to reverse other than your remaining unused balance as described below.
3. Unused Balance
Unused, unspent prepaid balance may be refunded at our sole discretion on written request, subject to the following:
- Refunds, where granted, are limited to the unspent balance remaining on your account at the time of the request, less any network, exchange, and processing fees we incur to return the funds.
- Refunds are paid out in cryptocurrency to an address you provide. We are not responsible for funds sent to an incorrect or incompatible address you supply, and on-chain settlement timing is outside our control.
- Balances forfeited under the Suspension and Termination section of the Terms of Service (for example, following an Acceptable Use violation, fraud, or unauthorized resale) are not eligible for refund.

4. Billing Errors and Service Faults
- If a request was charged but our records show it failed before producing a usable response, the corresponding amount is credited back to your balance.
- If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate against our request logs.
- Service credits issued to correct a billing error or a confirmed service fault are applied to your balance and are not separately cashable.
5. Pricing Changes
We may adjust pricing with 14 days advance notice posted to the dashboard and sent to your registered email, as set out in the Terms of Service. Price changes are not retroactive and do not affect balance already credited.
